5 Reasons to Choose Our Avocado Oil
You probably heard it all by now: Avocado oil is here to stay and to steal the spotlight from coconut oil and extra virgin olive oil. If you have not heard it, then great! We are here to spread the good news!
Dr. Axe and other health and wellness experts are calling it the number one culinary oil!
YES, Avocado oil is the next big deal in your pantry and your beauty routine. Avocado oil is widely used in skin care not just food, due to its low viscosity: it is not too oily at all, and absorbs into skin and scalp quickly and evenly. Avocado oil is high in vitamin E and other important skin and scalp nutrients like vitamins K and B and niacin. Avocado oil is also recommended against hair loss.
Here are our FIVE reasons you should switch to avocado oil:
Reason One: TASTE
The bold, musty, somewhat bitter flavor of extra virgin olive oil is excellent for many things! We love it too! But sometimes, a clean, neutral tasting oil comes in more handy for certain things. In fact, it is better to use a neutral tasting high heat oil for baking or frying. But more often than not, neutral tasting culinary oils are not too good for us. They are more than likely processed from genetically modified crops (GMO's), have been extracted and refined through a harsh chemical process to get it to the clean and neutral taste. In fact majority of conventional vegetable oils are GMO and hexane extracted, like soy, canola or corn.
See below comparison chart with olive and canola oil.
Reason Two: HEAT POINT
Our avocado oil can be safely heated to 550 F without losing its nutritional benefits. That is pretty hot! While extra virgin olive oil can be safely heated up to 425 F, avocado oil can be used for higher heat cooking like searing vegetables in the wok or frying and grilling. Here is why the flash point is important: when oils are heated beyond their flash point, the oxygen start creating free radicals in the oil which is harmful to your health because the oil starts oxidizing, and breaking down. When we ingest such oil, the oxidation creates inflammation in our bodies.
Reason Three: High in Important Nutrients

While avocado oil has less lutein and beta sitosterol than extra virgin olive oil, it still contains those antioxidants but in lesser amounts. However, avocado oil is higher in Vitamin E content than both olive and sunflower oil. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant, and it is the reason why avocado oil earned its esteem in cosmetic use and skin care. The use of avocado oil does not stop on our skin! Use it safely for everyday cooking, your heart will thank you for it! Due to its high Vitamin E content, which acts as a powerful antioxidant, it helps fight cellular damage caused by free radicals in our bodies.
Reason Four: High in Oleic Acid
Our avocado oil contains approximately 70% oleic acid (monounsaturated fat). Oleic acid helps in the absorption of important nutrients and helps maintain a healthy heart! Due to its high monounsaturated fat content, avocado oil is part of a heart healthy Mediterranean diet.
Reason Five: Refining Process
Avocado oil's culinary and health benefits are well documented.
However, there is a major difference in manufacturing and processing and is important to choose an oil that was refined using a gentle, non-chemical process that maintains most of the nutrients of the oil. It's also important to watch out for highly refined oils because most were refined, deodorized, winterized and bleached using harsh chemicals. Our oils was not refined through the traditional harsh chemicals process. It is a mechanical, gentle process using a natural refining process.
90% of processed vegetable oils in the US are hexane extracted and refined through chemicals like caustic soda and bleaching. Hexane is a known neurotoxin, something we definitely do not want in our diet, regardless of how little is left in the oil after processing.
Caustic soda or sodium hydroxide is a strong chemical base in the manufacture of pulp and paper, textiles, drinking water, soaps and detergents and as a drain cleaner.
Our avocado oil uses NONE of these processes. Our oil is manufactured from sustainably grown avocados in Mexico, the fruit is grown by local farmers in Mexico. After the avocados are cold pressed, the oil is gently refined through a natural, non-chemical process.
The pulp of the avocado fruit is expeller pressed and then gently heated and refined using a natural, non chemical refining process. This is our QUALITY GUARANTEE!
